36 - Get Involved With Hockey Talk Radio
Our past followers have told us that they like to save some of my shows
to listen to on their MP3 player. For that reason, I've provided the
following options:
Podcast 36 - Get Involved With Hockey Talk Radio... Although the advice here is useful to everyone -- including players and hockey parents, I think it's especially helpful to younger, less experienced coaches who would like to someday do what I do.

35 - The Answer to Your Hockey Problems
Our past followers have told us that they like to save some of my shows
to listen to on their MP3 player. For that reason, I've provided the
following options:
Podcast 35 - The Answer to Your Hockey Problems... If you're a hockey coach, parent or adult rec player, there's a good chance you've been stopped at some point without an answer to a real challenge. Frankly we think blind Internet searches are risky, reaping some good and some not so good advice. So, listeners are asked to leave their questions or problems in the Ask The Coach contact form. There's a good chance they'll be amazed at the answers you'll receive.

34 - A Better Hockey Whistle Idea
Our past followers have told us that they like to save some of my shows
to listen to on their MP3 player. For that reason, I've provided the
following options:
Podcast 34 - A Better Hockey Whistle Idea... Just so hockey folks know, I've been solving problems in our game for longer than most listeners have been alive. In this case, I saw a serious problem with whistles on a lanyard, and ultimately went about solving it (pretty easily). See another photo of my whistle and more over at CoachChic.com: "A Coach Chic Style Whistle"

33 - Thoughts on Team Preparation
Our past followers have told us that they like to save some of my shows
to listen to on their MP3 player. For that reason, I've provided the
following options:
Podcast 33 - Thoughts on Team Preparation... A coach writes me, "I'm going to be coaching a u19 Girls team this year. We start our camp in Lake Placid soon -- eating, sleeping and training in the Olympic Center, with plenty of team bonding. Any suggestions?" A number of thoughts contained here happen to be included in my book, "How to Coach A Young Hockey Team". Click this link if you'd like to connect on the "Coach Chic" Facebook fan page.

32 - Looking for Top Hockey Podcasters
Our past followers have told us that they like to save some of my shows
to listen to on their MP3 player. For that reason, I've provided the
following options:
Podcast 32 - Looking for Top Hockey Podcasters... Not only am I looking for hockey podcasters, but I’m also hoping to connect with anyone who runs a slightly related kind of program -- maybe like a podcast for hockey related strength development, for speed work, for conditioning for hockey, a show about hockey equipment and skate sharpening, and even a program about some awesome cross-training sports like floorball and in-lining. For more info, touch base through the Ask The Coach contact form.

Our past followers have told us that they like to save some of my shows
to listen to on their MP3 player. For that reason, I've provided the
following options:
Podcast 31 - Critical Periods in Motor Learning for Hockey... When I say "critical", I mean it. This is information that can make or break a youngster's athletic ability, and hockey playing abilities.. Podcast 30 - Fight versus Flow in Hockey... Hockey players react differently to the pressures of competition, some struggling in a fight mode, while others learn to flow. Make no mistake about it, the best hockey players -- at any age -- have great mental skills as well as great physical skills. See the original article by Shaun Goodsell: "Fight vs Flow". Visit the MentalEdge Website. Here are more of my podcasts about mental training.

Our past followers have told us that they like to save some of my shows
to listen to on their MP3 player. For that reason, I've provided the
following options:
Podcast 29 - Almost Anyone Can Achieve Greatness... As promised, here's a link to the video, "Life Beyond Limits". Also, here are links to two great books: "Outliers" and "The Talent Code". I have no connection with either product, but I sure would recommend reading both books. If you're a CoachChic.com member, I would suggest reading "Epigenetics Meets Ice Hockey".

28 - Advice For Those With Young Hockey Players

following options:

Podcast 28 - Advice For Those With Young Hockey Players... I can't emphasize enough all the advice offered in this show. In fact, if a parent or coach who deals with young ones isn't aware of this information, there's a danger that their young athlete/s will forever be behind in athletic development. The off-season now upon us as this episodes was published, I can highly recommend reading "Don’t Fall Into The Hockey Off-season Traps". (I'm sorry that the "Critical Periods in Motor Learning – 2" video is only available for CoachChic.com members.)
